Metamora Fields Golf Course: 9th Hole

Metamora Fields sits on a unique parcel of land near the center of the Township of Metamora that had been used as farm land and referred to as "the field." This gentle rolling land provided the design team an opportunity to create a links concept, or as research provided us, more of a "Heathland " design. This design highlights a series of lakes and creeks collecting and conserving water for features on the property, and practical use to groom the course. The holes have been carved through the natural movement of the land with a compliment of dominant land forms and lows, setting of the tees, landing areas and greens accented with a mix of native grasses.

The course will provide a nice blend of holes inviting all levels of play and handicaps to enjoy. Weibring Wolfard Design believes in a central theme of the shot making that will provide an old fashioned traditional opportunity for players to bounce the ball into and around every green, which truly allows real options to play the game! Metamora Fields Golf Club will be the center piece of the development that will have over 100 home sites, many with golf course views as well as a 30,000 square foot clubhouse, which overlooks a series of water featurers seperating the 9th and 18th holes as they finish at the clubhouse.

"Good golf courses are built to invite you in..........." states course designer D.A. Weibring, "We have accomplished our objective at Metamora Fields."
